Kennel Application

Applications will be reviewed by the Clerk and By-law Enforcement Officer.  Once approved, the By-law Enforcement Officer will be in contact to inspect the kennel prior to a license being issued. 

As part of the process we recommend that you review Section 7 of the Animal Control By-law and refer to the Huron East Zoning By-law and Ontario Building Code for specific distance requirements. 

Please ensure that the following documents are attached to this application: 

• Site Plan (include the location of all buildings including the Kennel areas, dog runs, and any facilitites that will be used.  Include any additional buildings on the property and distances to the Kennel).
• Floor Plan (layour of the interior of hte Kennel, yards and pens, including dimensions).
